The Tai O Cultural Association was founded in 2017 with the mission of “reinterpreting culture in innovative ways.” In collaboration with the original residents of Tai O, the association re-presents the fishing village’s unique culture by transforming oral histories and traditional crafts into innovative formats such as environmental theatre, multimedia art, and cultural promotion events. Through these efforts, they aim to preserve and pass on this distinctive cultural heritage.
